Selichot in the Holocaust Resource Center – Sep 5th

Selichot in the Holocaust Resource Center
September 5th, 2015
Selichot is a time of introspection. It’s important for the Jewish people to ask, “Where are we? Where are we going? And what must we do in the future?”
With growing anti-Semitism, a strong BDS movement in the world, and with Iran growing stronger each day, Selichot is a perfect opportunity for us to learn about where we are and what we can do.
As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Temple Judea’s Holocaust Resource Center, we reflect on the past in order to ensure the future of the Jewish people.
From 8:00 – 9:00 pm we will be led on guided tours of the Holocaust Resource Center. Refreshments will be served.
From 9:00 – 11:00 pm join us for a moving service led by our Rabbi, Cantor and Choir and a powerful talk led by Irving Roth, Director of the Holocaust Resource Center.
We welcome attendance of all interested in attending.  If you aren’t a Temple Judea member, please call our office 516 621-8049, so we can include you on our guest list.
